The department mainly handles basic subjects common for all branches that include Engineering Mechanics, Engineering Graphics, Basic Mechanical and Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Control Systems, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In addition to this, subjects like Industrial Organization and Management, Financial management, Operations Research and Technical Communication & Social Sciences are also handled.
